Later, you will be introduced to Remoting in PowerShell Core and Just Enough Administration concept. The last set of chapters will help you understand the management of a private and public cloud with PowerShell Core. You will also learn how to access web services and explore the high-performance scripting methods. By the end of this book, you will gain the skills to manage complex tasks effectively along with increasing the performance of your environment.

Setting up Azure Stack

Setting up Azure Stack is a lot more complicated than setting up Hyper-V. This recipe will show you how to do a trial installation of Azure Stack with the Azure Stack Software Development Kit (SDK). Be aware that this recipe has many moving parts, and it even failed on me multiple times. It seems impossible to catch all possible exceptions as you will likely notice.

Using Azure Stack, on the other hand, is no different than using Azure, with a few limitations that we will explore in the upcoming recipes.
