Understanding server hardware components

From a technical point of view, a server is nothing more than a computer. As you open up the computer's case, you will notice various parts that make up the internal hardware of the computer. In computer jargon, these parts are called hardware components—in our case, the server's hardware components. Now, the question arises: why should we pay that much attention to these hardware components? Does this sound like the right question?
