In this chapter, we have looked at how to manage content with Configuration Manager. We have gone all the way from setting up distribution points to understanding how the content library works and can help save us disk space by using single instance storage.
We also discovered how to create cloud distribution points in Windows Azure to save money by not having distribution points on server infrastructure. Finally, we looked at how to enable data deduplication on distribution points to further provide disk space savings on top of those provided by single-instance storage.
In the next chapter, we will look at the application model in Configuration Manager and how it can be used to deploy applications to your clients and how they differ from packages.
