Introduction to operating system deployment


The ability to automatically deploy operating systems to a standard configuration in the enterprise is as important as the security on the endpoint. A standard environment means a secure and a stable environment.

Configuration Manager provides the ability to deploy standard operating system images created by the administrator in a repeatable manner to ensure that the deployment is the same time and time again making the operating environment consistent.
