This recipe shows you how to publish an App-V package to a machine group with the application hosted on an IIS server.

Getting ready

To complete these steps, you will need administrative access to the App-V Management Console. In addition, if you haven't done so already, add the user Maddy Alans to the Audacity Users Active Directory Security Group.

How to do it...

The following list shows you the high-level steps involved in this recipe and the tasks required to complete the recipe (all of the actions in this recipe will take place on a domain-joined Windows 8.1 computer):

  • Log in to the App-V Management Console.

  • Add the Audacity Package to the console.

  • Permit the application to be run by the Domain Computers Security Group.

  • Publish the application.

The implementation of the preceding tasks is as follows:

  2. Click on ADD or UPGRADE PACKAGES...
