Configuring Dynamic Lock


Dynamic Lock is another Windows 10 security feature. It enables users who, in addition to computers, also use mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets so to automatically lock their device whenever they step away from their PC. Prior to enabling Dynamic Lock on your Windows 10 computer, you should pair your computer and your mobile device via Bluetooth.

Enabling Dynamic Lock

To enable Dynamic Lock in your Windows 10 computer, complete the following steps:

  1. Press the Windows key + I to open Windows Settings.
  2. In the Windows Settings window, click Accounts.
  3. On the Accounts page, select Sing-in options from the navigation menu.
  1. On the Sign-in options page, in the Dynamic Lock section, check the Allow Windows to automatically lock your device when you're away option as in Figure 14.10:
