Performing an upgrade using installation media

To continue with the upgrade, following the steps explained in the Upgrading using installation mediasection, perform the following steps:

  1. Select Download and install updates (recommended) and click Next, as shown in Figure 2.10:

  1. Enter Product key if your copy of Windows 7 is not activated and click Next.
  2. Take your time to read theApplicable notices and license termsand clickAccept.
  3. When Windows 10 Setup determines that you are ready to install Windows 10, click the Install button (see Figure 2.11):
