Troubleshooting data access

To troubleshoot data access in your Windows 10 computer using Group Policy, complete the following steps:

  1. Right-click the Start button, and select Run.
  2. In the Run dialog box, enter gpedit.msc and press Enter.
  3. In the Local Group Policy Editor window, navigate to Computer Configuration | Windows Settings | Security Settings | Local Policies | User Rights Assignment as shown in Figure 8.28:

Troubleshooting share and NTFS permissions
