Welcome to Working with Images! Now that you've (presumably) gone through and learned some of the Azure PowerShell basics in the previous chapter, we're going to take a look at some image-centric tasks and commands that you should know how to handle as part of your day-to-day operations.
In this chapter, we'll cover the following topics:
- Marketplace images
- Custom images
By the end of this chapter, you should know how to deploy virtual machines from the existing images that are available on the Azure Marketplace and from custom-created images. You will even get the opportunity to practice what you've learned by workign through a hands-on exercise at the end of the chapter.
