We've covered a lot in this chapter. CI/CD pipelines can be complex and we need to be able to use tools and technologies that will allow us to be flexible enough to build complexity where we need it. The native AWS services do a great job at that without being too opinionated.
The deployment patterns we learned about in this chapter will be helpful when we move our Serverless Framework projects into production and we need to start thinking about reducing any potential impacts on real consumers.
The next chapter provides some tips about how we can use serverless services to automate some of the security and operational tasks we face when running in AWS.
