Prerequisites

Before you can publish your action to GitHub Marketplace, you must meet the following prerequisites:

  • Your action must live in a public GitHub repository.
  • The repository must contain one single action.
  • The action's metadata file—action.yaml or action.yml—must live in the root of the repository.
