What does it look like inside MSIX?

To recap on the previous section, we looked at applications that are packaged in an MSIX lightweight container. The MSIX package writes to its own virtual registry and application data folder. It is important to note that the application processes run inside that container.

Applications installed in the MSIX packaging format are located in the C:\program files\WindowsApps folder. Each package folder contains a set of standard files required for the MSIX application to communicate with the Windows operating system API.
