Distinguishing between the components that make up a Veeam DataLab

Veeam DataLabs can also be referred to as an On-Demand Sandbox. The three components that make up the On-Demand Sandbox can be created via the user interface or PowerShell. This process requires the following elements:

  • Virtual Lab
  • Application Group
  • SureBackup job

Once these three components get configured, you can begin to take advantage of Veeam DataLabs, as it is a one-time setup.

We have taken a brief look at the components that make up the Veeam DataLab. We will now examine the parts of the Veeam DataLab to get a better understanding of what each one does.
