Most network storages support NFS that need to be configured both on the frontend and the hosts.
Please be aware that if you are using a 10/100 or even a gigabit Ethernet network, you may be interested in Ethernet bonding that can be used to aggregate multiple Ethernet channels together, to form a single channel. This can be used to provide increased network performance or high availability. Check for the ifenslave
system utility and the support of your network switches for the different available bonding modes.
In order to install the NFS client use the following command:
$ sudo apt-get install nfs-common
