We only touched on the surface of the extensive charting capabilities of Excel. You will now be able to generate charts with just a click of a few buttons to quickly visualize your data. And why do we do this? We do this to get a better feel and understanding of our data. You also saw concrete examples of how to change certain chart elements such as the axis and title. The latter part of the chapter showed you many tools you can use to further customize your charts. From changing the color and the feel all the way to changing the layout. With all of these tools under your belt, visualizing your data should not be intimidating but a joy. The presentation of your data is very important and Excel is your friend at this stage of the data analysis life cycle. The next chapter will expand on this one and give you additional tools to effectively and interactively tell your data stories.
