Requiring shipping and billing information


Apple Pay provides all the information that you need to complete a transaction. However, there may be situations in which you need information stored in Apple Pay that is not available to you before the user authorizes the payment request. For example, even though Apple Pay provides shipping and billing information, you may still require that the user enter or confirm the shipping destination before they authorize the payment request to calculate the shipping costs to present in the payment sheet. Keep in mind though that as your customer's billing and shipping details are most likely up to date in Apple Pay, relying on Apple Pay for this information is generally the best approach.
