Batch Macro


ABatch Macro is a special kind of macro that is used to process a group of records based on a control parameter. The group of records processed within the macro logic is determined by the control parameter. The control parameter is where you will identify the input fields from the control input you want to use to configure the macro. The Batch Macro is run from beginning to end for each control parameter. This applies to each record, where the entire macro will be reconfigured and run. Records that go in the control input will not form as streams inside the macro like regular inputs. Let's go through a Batch Macro and how it can help in a repeatable process.

Batch Macro Example #1:

Step 1: Select the Macro Input tool from the Interface tool palette and add the tool onto the canvas. The workflow will automatically change to a Standard Macro.
