Overview of this book

Salesforce Einstein analytics aka Wave Analytics is a cloud-based platform which connects data from the multiple sources and explores it to uncover insights. It empowers sales reps, marketers, and analysts with the insights to make customer interactions smarter, without building mathematical models. You will learn to create app, lenses, dashboards and share dashboards with other users. Embedding and sharing dashboards in communities


The user can also share the Einstein Analytics dashboard with communities. External users can view applications that are shared with them. The user can embed the dashboard by using either Community Builder or Visualforce Pages. In order to use this feature, users should have Customer Community Plus or a Partner Community license. We can embed Analytics dashboards by using the following steps: 

  1. Enabling Communities
  2. Enabling Analytics for Communities
  3. Embedding dashboards using Community Builder or Visualforce
  4. Enabling sharing with Communities
  5. Inviting Community partners and customers to share the application

Enabling Communities

Communities are the best way for customers and partners to collaborate. Users can create and configure public as well as private communities, which can allow members of the same community to connect directly. To enable Communities, perform the following steps:
