Preparing the Sales Analysis app for offline usage

When developing or adjusting an application for offline usage, consider the following points:

  • The complexity and size of the application: Create simple and small applications of a few megabytes in size and fewer sheets and objects. The Qlik Sense Mobile application runs on an iOS device with much lower CPU performance and available memory compared to a computer that uses a web browser to connect to a Qlik Sense Enterprise server. You can perform tests on an iOS device with system specifications that match those of your application consumer. Download the application, open and make selections in the data, and observe the behavior. The apps need to be small. The download is aborted if the app is not ready for download in 90 seconds when requested from the server.
