Parsimonious model

Parsimonious models are simple models with great explanatory predictive power. They usually explain data with a minimum number of parameters, or predictor variables. MoEClust is the required R package that fits finite Gaussian Mixtures of Experts models using a range of parsimonious covariance with the help of EM/CEM algorithms.

The following steps are implemented to create a parsimonious model with a visual representation:

  1. Install the following package, which is needed to create a parsimonious model of our automobile Autompg dataset:
