Moderating videos
Collaborating using plain text and images has become so 2000 and late. Nearly everyone has a mobile device with high-speed connectivity, and this is evolving the user-generated content era to video formats. Amazon Rekognition supports video content moderation using its StartContentModeration
and GetContentModeration
APIs.
Amazon Rekognition can start the asynchronous detection of inappropriate, unwanted, or offensive content in a stored video. To access this capability, you need to take the following actions:
- Upload the video into an Amazon S3 bucket.
- Call the
StartContentModeration
API. - Amazon Rekognition Video will begin processing the video.
- Amazon Rekognition Video posts notifications to a topic.
- You subscribe to that topic using Amazon SQS and AWS Lambda.
