Managing collections

As a content creator or a server administrator, you will often need processes for sharing content in a controlled manner. For example, managing access to published workflows, insights, and schedules for the groups of users who require that content allows you to keep the content secure and discoverable for all your end users.

When managing the content in a collection, two aspects need managing—the content in the collection and the access required for the collection.

Creating collections

In the Alteryx Gallery, curators can assign the collection creation permission to any user. To confirm whether you have the Collections Creation permission, navigate to your profile page and check whether the Create New Collections permission is checked, as in the following screenshot:
