In this recipe we will customize the look and feel of the dashboard we have created by adjusting widget controls individually.
Keep the 5825-01-Sample2 dashboard we have created and worked upon in the previous recipes, open in Cognos Business Insight.
To configure widget controls to customize the dashboard, perform the following steps:
1. On the dashboard adjust the Days to fill slider filter for the numeric range between 55 and 75, as shown in the following screenshot:
2. Click on the Recruitment type column chart and focus the mouse to expose the Widget toolbar. This will push the slider filter to the background. Widgets can be dragged and moved on the dashboard to expose the filter again.
