In this chapter, we learned how to set up the Canyon Bunny project. We used an UML class diagram to structure the game into manageable and logical pieces. The first classes have been implemented to lay the foundation for later extensions to the game. The discussion about the implementation details took place at a gradual and steady pace so that we could learn from the development process as a whole instead of only talking about accomplished facts.
In the next chapter, we will gather all the resources (assets) needed for Canyon Bunny, including graphics, audio files, and level data. We will also learn how to prepare data for use in our game.
