Summary


In this chapter, you learned about the structure of GameMaker Language. You learned how to create variables and scripts as well as how to structure statements and loops. We can now use the scripts to create new functions within GameMaker that accept arguments and are able to return results for easy use.

In the next chapter, we will be working with sprites.
