Creating transition objects


Transitions are used by making SKTransition an object; some of the methods to do that are as follows:

  • class func crossFadeWithDuration(_ sec: NSTimeInterval) -> SKTransition: This creates a cross fade transition; it takes the duration of transition as its parameter and returns an SKTransition object.

  • class func doorsCloseHorizontalWithDuration(_ sec: NSTimeInterval) -> SKTransition: This creates a transition where the new scene appears as a pair of closing horizontal doors; it also takes the duration of transition as its parameter and returns an SKTransition object.
