Is there an Audio Listener added to the scene? Is the Audio Source or GameObject enabled? Is the Audio Clip parameter set? Is Play on Awake enabled or is the source playing in script? Is Volume set to maximum? Is Output set to an active mixing group? Is Audio Listener within range of the the source's 3D Sound Settings? Is the source being output to a muted mixing group? Are you able to play the audio from the resource import settings view?
