To swap the Ethan character from the Unity Standard Assets package with a different 3D model of your choosing, follow these steps:
- Start a new 3D project and ensure you are logged in to your Unity account in the Unity Editor.
- Open the Unity Asset Store in a web browser and log in to your Unity account in the Asset Store.
- In the Asset Store, search for Standard Assets, and import the Asset Package into your project. Click on Open in Unity | Import.
- You should now have a Standard Assets folder in your Project panel, containing the Cameras and Characters folders (and possibly some others, such as CrossPlatformInput and Editor).
