Summary

We learned essentially everything there is to know about Layers in this chapter. We discussed how to create new layers, lock them, hide them, nest sublayers, and even how to duplicate and arrange layers. We even spent a bit of time discussing the Blend mode feature when using layers—which can be a helpful tool to get text or object effects. Up next, we are going to learn about building objects.
