Game resources

The resources for At The Docks will not cover sound files, at this time. The goal of this book is to show you important elements of a game and how to implement them. If you want to have sounds within the game, you are always welcome to add them yourself, once you are done with the chapter.

What kinds of resources will we have?

  • A sprite sheet that will be used to create the maps in the game. This sheet includes a wall, a floor, a target, a crate image, and the player machine in three animated frames

  • A bitmap font to display information in the game

That's all for now. Remember, it isn't about quantity, it's about quality!
