Particles are a worthy addition to any map or mod. Particle Editor has a pretty tough to pick up, but I hope that with this chapter as a foundation, and some extra time spent using the editor, you will perfect it. Particles can be used for fire, fireworks, waterfalls, or any other effect you can dream of. Their ability to be parented to other entities can greatly increase the visual effects of any entity set up.

I want to thank you for reading this book. Creating maps for Half-Life 1 and Half-Life 2 has been my passion for over a decade.
