Over the course of this book you have learned the techniques required to get started developing native Direct3D games for Windows 8. We've looked at the different components of a game and how to use the Windows 8 APIs to enhance your game past the standard gameplay. You should also understand how to get your game through certification and into the store.

In this chapter we looked at how to sell your game in the store, and the different APIs available to manage the trial versions as well as in-app purchases. You should hopefully also have a better understanding of the monetization models common in modern game development and, using the techniques provided, be able to apply them to make some money from your game.
