The PREVIEW
command (alias PRE
, on the Standard toolbar, or File main menu) displays a print preview of the current sheet in a new box. We can zoom and pan the preview, to see if everything is OK before printing.
The PRINT
command (shortcut Ctrl + P, on the Standard toolbar, or File main menu) prints the sheet. It displays the
Print dialog box, similar to the Print Configuration box, but allowing access to some specific areas:
Print configuration options: The Quick print option prints the screen view with default printer and other default settings. The Use print configuration allows the user to select another print configuration. The Use previous settings option applies the same settings as in the last print. Manual setup allows the user to configure everything.
Number of copies: If a printer is selected, it is possible to print several copies.
Print to file: If a printer is selected, this option allows the user to create a file, instead.
