The ROTATE
command (alias RO
, on the Modify toolbar, or Modify main menu) allows the user to rotate the selected entities around a point. By default, it prompts the entities selection, center of rotation (pivot point) and angle of rotation, positive in counter-clockwise direction:

The Reference
option allows the user to define the rotation angle calculated from an existing angle (normally by two points) and a final angle (normally typed in).
Note
Unlike other DWG programs, in DraftSight this command has no Copy
option. Neither does it allow the user to define the final angle, in Reference
, by two points.
