Well, there it is. We built our multicopter, but the journey isn't over just yet. There is a lot of calibration yet to be done before we can lay a modicum of trust in it. We assembled it and prepared it for its maiden flight. Do you have a name for it yet? If so, I don't blame you. A ton of work, research, and yes … love goes into building your first multicopter.

In the next chapter, we'll build your skills up! We'll get you ready for your maiden flight and get you as prepared as you can be. We'll get the multicopter into a hover and finalize the calibration of our gimbal and our batteries. We'll also learn about safety precautions and some general rules to minimize the risk to your equipment, investment, and yes … the public.
