After this overview of computer graphic technologies, it is now time to look at the Thea user interface before we start exploring the features in a test scene. For this chapter, you need Thea Render and the Thea for SketchUp plugin installed (the free demo version will do for testing). As a licensed user you can also download sample materials from the Resources section of the website (http://www.thearender.com/) and have access to the Materials & Texture forum where other users exchange and discuss their own materials. Check the download and installation instructions in Chapter 2, Collecting a Toolset, if you don't have it already on your system.
