As MOOCs have hit critical mass, the use of online instructional videos has accordingly skyrocketed. This isn't surprising when you compare the high cost of traditional higher education with the highly cost-effective nature of MOOCs.
According to Coursera, co-founder Daphne Koller shared in her 2012 TED Talk What We're Learning from Online Education, tuition at institutions of higher education has increased an astonishing 559% during the previous 25 years!
