Working with Multimedia

In this chapter, you will continue to experiment with the objects and features of Adobe Captivate 2019. You will now focus on the objects and features used to transform your eLearning content into a compelling multimedia experience.

Multimedia means the use of various media and technologies to convey your message to the learner. This includes static text and images (already covered in the previous chapter) as well as audio, video, and animation.

Some of these animated content can be created entirely within Captivate, while other rich content is developed in external applications, such as Adobe Animate CC and Adobe Photoshop CC.

In this chapter, you will cover the following topics:

  • Inserting animated GIF and HTML5 animations in your course
  • Inserting video files in the project
  • Adding sound effects to objects
  • Adding background music to the project...
