In this section, you'll find guidance on what to ask your administrator if you need Hot Potatoes support and glossary auto-linking enabled in order to present your Moodle course.
If you don't see the Hot Potatoes activity when you click on Add a resource... then ask your Moodle Admin to switch on that feature. To enable the Hot Potatoes activity your admin needs to:
Go to the Site Administration block, click on Modules, then Activities, and finally select Manage activities.
Open the eye of the Hot Potatoes activity (they'll know what you mean when they see it). There are some settings that they can change, but they don't have to worry about that for now.
Once your admin has made that change for you, check that the Hot Potatoes Quiz activity has been added to the Add an activity drop-down menu.
