Let's re-equip the Rivers and Continents exercise and create a self-marking, gap-fill exercise:
2. Give your gap-fill exercise a name by entering it in the Title box. In the window that pops up, type (or copy and paste) the passage in which you want to have gaps.
3. Select a word that you want blanked out, and click on Gap at the bottom of the screen.
4. If you wanted, you could add a clue and alternative correct answers for the gapped word, as shown in the following screenshot:
5. Click on OK to go back to the main screen.
6. Repeat this for as many blanks or gaps as you want.
7. Go to the configuration screen and personalize your exercise, as we did for the JMatch exercise.
8. Click on the Other tab, and, with the help of the following table, make your choices specific to JCloze:
Item
What it is
What I think
Include SCORM 1.2 functions
One way of including images, sound, or video.
