Summary

In this chapter, we learned a lot about Views. You saw how you can make a new View from scratch and edit it to contain the kind of content that you want to add. You also saw how to control who sees your View as well as when they see it. We saw how to go back and edit your View once you have created it. Also, you copied someone else's View into your portfolio area. You had an introduction to the View feedback system in Mahara and placed your first feedback on the View, deciding whether or not you wanted to make it public. Finally, you saw an example of good View practice and we encouraged you to think about the content of your View by providing you with some View Quality Guidelines.

Now that you've learned about your Profile, Files, Blogs, and Views, you're ready to learn all about the social networking facilities in Mahara. We started to discuss social networking in this chapter when we mentioned Groups and Friends. That is the topic of the next chapter.
