Time for action - releasing a view submitted for assessment


  1. 1. Log into Mahara as either a Tutor or Administrator of the course group you have created.

  2. 2. Navigate to your course group.

  3. 3. The first thing you should notice when you enter your group is that you have a new section at the bottom of the group About page called views submitted to this group. In this section you should see all the views that have been submitted here for assessment. Susan O'Leary, our Tutor on the NVQ Level 2 for Mechanical Engineering can now see the work that Ravinda has completed:

  1. 4. Click on the view that has been submitted for assessment.

  2. 5. At this point, imagine yourself in the role of a Tutor. You are able to take your time looking carefully at the submission before giving it a mark, safe in the knowledge that the learner can't make any edits to the view that you can see (apart from the above-mentioned ability to update their blogs, feeds, or external websites).
