Adding detailed sentences


In this recipe, we are going to ask the students to add detailed sentences. We are going to provide students with a topic sentence and a concluding one. We are going to design this activity in Assignments and then select Offline activity.

Getting ready

We are going to design a very simple activity. We are going to provide our students with two types of sentences—the topic sentence and the concluding one—and they will have to complete the lines in the middle of the paragraph. They are going to add the detailed sentences. Let's Moodle it!

How to do it...

We are going to select the Weekly outline section in which we want to add the activity. Afterwards, you are going to follow these steps:

  1. 1. Click on Add an activity and select Offline activity.

  2. 2. In the Assignment name block, write the title of the activity.

  3. 3. Complete the Description block with the instructions as well as the topic and concluding sentences of the paragraph that the students have to complete.
