Updating a fairy tale—using a database to guide writing activity

In this task, we are going to use some information from a fairy tale that students should all know, and they are going to change it by adding items from our society. These items could be mainly technological. We are to focus on rewriting what has been written by a famous writer, change the end, or change the plot of the story. This is because if students add something different to the story, they would be changing the general idea of it. The fairy tale that I suggest in this case is Rapunzel; you may choose another one or you may even choose a story that you have been dealing with. I propose to do this task through Moodle.

Getting ready
