In this chapter, we've investigated the way text and files are handled in Moodle 2.0
We've seen that there is a new text (HTML editor) based on the popular TinyMCE editor, and we have looked at how it differs from the HTML editor in previous versions of Moodle
We've seen how the opportunities to embed multimedia are greater and simpler with this new editor
We have taken a look at how to upload files and where they are stored, contrasting the system with that of Moodle 1.9
We've also discovered that Moodle 2.0 offers the possibility of sourcing and displaying content from other sites such as Flickr or Picasa
We've investigated the opportunity to use the Private files option for personal storage
We ended our journey into the text and files domain by considering the potential given to our users by the Portfolio API which allows users to push selected pieces of work directly to other sites such as Mahara or Google Docs
