Giving feedback


As if being able to blog, comment, and message wasn't enough, Moodle 2.0 also gives us the option to add feedback instances both to our courses and to the site as a whole. The Feedback module isn't new; it's been around and popular for a while. Eventually it will combine with the equally popular Questionnaire module to make a turbo-charged feedback/survey/questionnaire, but in the meantime, the Feedback module has been added to Moodle 2.0 (although admins will need to "open its eye" to enable it)

Additionally, if we want to be able to get anonymous feedback on our home page—that is from non-logged in users, then admin needs to change to Yes the option in Site administration | Plugins | Feedback as shown in the following screenshot:

Why anonymous?

It's not so much that we don't want to know "who said what"—rather this way, we can create a short set of questions on the front page which people without a login are able to answer. At my school, we've used the Feedback module in Moodle...
