We have created courses, added some content and tried to make them look visually appealing. Thus far there has been no real opportunity for interaction between teacher and students. That is a key function of a virtual learning environment. How can Moodle help a teacher to make work available to students? How can it help students to submit work efficiently? What tools does Moodle offer to help in this important area?
In this chapter, we are going to look at how to:
Upload different types of files to the course for use by students and teachers
Find the files that have been uploaded so that they can be reused
Make the files accessible to students
Create a link so that students can submit a piece of work for marking
Create a glossary of important historical terms
Randomly display a different term from the glossary on the course page every time a student logs in to the course
