Overview of this book

Moodle, as a learning management system, is used to provide resources, interactive activities and assessments to students. Through the use of the gradebook, Moodle can also be used to store grades, calculate final marks and track student achievement and progress to help the teacher manage the learning process.Through the use of the gradebook, Moodle can also be used to store grades, making it much easier for you to organize your work and relay information to your students. Outcomes report


The outcomes report is used in courses where outcomes have been added to the course. If you have tabs at the top of your screen, click on View and then click on the Outcomes report under the tabs. If using the drop-down list, choose Outcomes report under the View heading (you can see both the drop-down list and tabs options at the top of the following screenshot).

The Outcomes report can help the teacher see which outcomes are being achieved, and at what level, and which ones may need additional support or development.

This report shows the three outcomes that are used within this course listed in the first column titled Short name.

In the second column it shows the average grade for each outcome. This average is based on the grades awarded for the outcome divided by the number of times this outcome has been graded.
