Let's re-equip the rivers and continents exercise and create a self-marking, gap-fill exercise.
2. Give your gap-fill exercise a name by entering it in the Title box. In the window that pops up, type (or copy-and-paste) the passage in which you want to have gaps.
3. Select a word that you want blanked out, and click on Gap at the bottom of the screen.
4. If you wanted, you could add a clue and alternative correct answers for the gapped word, as shown in the following screenshot. If you aren't bothered about children's spelling, add alternative spellings, or if your word is a number, add it as digits here too:
5. Click on OK to go back to the main screen.
