Preface

Adding pictures, sound, or video to our self-marking exercises

So far, in this chapter, all our activities have involved words. Wouldn't it be good if we could spice them up a bit with sound, video, or pictures?

While it's possible to add multimedia like that to our Hot Potatoes quizzes, we're actually going to do this using Moodle's built-in quiz option as it's really easy to do. This will give us a chance both to take a look at how to make an activity in Moodle that gets marked for you, keeps the score for you and your classes, and is much more fun than just plain text!
